Well the highlight of our trip was to go to slide and play in the water of slide rock national park. Slide Rock is a famous a stretch of slippery creek bottom
along Oak Creek. It is like a natural water s
lide. We where hoping to slide down a slick natural water chute or wade and sun along the creek, however the slides and this portion of the creek was closed. We were so bumped. The rangers stated
that the water was full of bacteria from high counts of fecal matter (poop).
UGHHHHHH!!!! Thank goodness for Chlorine Pools. In lieu of swimming in the slides the girls went hiking. It was so cute they climbed and explored. It was still a great afternoon at Slide Rock.
